As if Fresh and Onlys, Thee Oh Sees, Grass Widow, and Nodzzz weren't enough amazing music from California...

...here are yet two more records, from more CALI bands, that I can not stop listening to! I'm trying to talk both of them into playing with The Babies when we go out there in May.

White Fence (the yellow record) is Tim Presleys, (Darker My Love and The Strange Boys), solo record out on Make a Mess Records. Soon to be digitized via Woodsist!

The Mantles debut record, out on Silt Breeze, came highly recomended to me by everyone at Love Garden Sounds in Lawrence. It's a total killer. It the one up top, with the distorted picture of a suited man holding a picture of jimi hendrix.
